The most cost-effective and impactful way to donate food is through a “virtual” food drive (VFD). VFDs enable Connecticut Foodshare to save on resources and source the most-needed foods. If your organization or group would like to help us collect funds, you can contact Nina Peck: email@example.com and set up your VFD site. You will be sent a link and instructions on how to set up your virtual food drive. We can set up a goal and timeline, and you can drop in your logo or other information for participants.
Donations of food through food drives, the food industry, and farms are vital to reducing food waste while helping Connecticut Foodshare provide food to our neighbors across the state.
