Prudential Cares

Ken Tanji, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Prudential, led a #PrudentialCares event recently at the Connecticut Food Bank. Ken opened the day of volunteering with some kind words about our partnership:

“Prudential’s purpose is to make people’s lives better. We do that by solving the financial challenges of our changing world. Prudential’s purpose is highly aligned with Connecticut Food Bank who everyday takes on the challenge to nourish people in our own communities. We’re proud to be longtime partners with the Connecticut Food Bank. Our partnership has grown and strengthened over the past 17 years. Together, we’re making a difference in our community by helping people live better and more productive lives.”

Newman’s Own Foundation

A recent grant from Newman’s Own Foundation will will help us source, store, and distribute food through our network of nearly 700 partner agencies and programs. Thanks to Newman’s Own Foundation for their support.

Western Connecticut Federal Credit Union

Western Connecticut Federal Credit Union joined us in July to volunteer and host a financial literacy workshop at our Danbury GROW Truck site held at CIFC: Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. The credit union staff shared resources and tips in both English and Spanish on how to build and maintain good credit for the families participating in the GROW program.
