Join us for Hunger Action Month to participate in Food Frenzy! It’s a month-long competition for groups of all sizes to compete for bragging rights to provide the most meals to people in need. Meals are earned by donating time, food, and funds. Registration is free!
How Does It Work?
Participants will be awarded points in meals for financial and food contributions and volunteering their time at the Connecticut Food Bank as follows:
Who can participate?
Groups of all sizes are invited to participate. Participating groups may include faith groups, school groups, families, businesses, community groups, sports teams, fraternities/sororities, and more! Each team must choose a team captain who will be responsible for registering the group and for serving as the contact person.

What can your group win?
Prizes will be awarded to the group that generates the most meals, as well as to the team that raises the most meals per person on the team. Each of the two winning groups will each receive a plaque recognizing their achievement. The winners will also be featured on social media highlighting their cause and reason for choosing to help the Connecticut Food Bank. All donations must be received by October 5. Winning teams will be announced the second week of October.
Teams will be listed on our website and each registered team will get a shout-out on our social media pages when they register. When the winners are announced, we’ll make a big fuss on social media for you 🙂
