About CFB:

Partnerships and Subsidiaries

Connecticut Food Bank is a member of Feeding America, formerly America's Second Harvest. Feeding America is the nation’s largest domestic hunger relief charity network, consisting of more than 200 food banks and food rescue organizations. We also collaborate with End Hunger Connecticut! and similar advocacy organizations as part of its mission of community education and advocacy about the problem of hunger.

CFB has two Subsidiary Distribution Organizations (SDO) in Stamford and New London. The Food Bank of Lower Fairfield County and The Gemma E. Moran United Way / Labor Food Center operate as their own entities, receiving food from us and relying on food and monetary donations from local residents, organizations and companies.
