Bridal Shower Raises 104 Pounds Of Food
Mary Haussler, her daughter Myra Matthews, and her
son-in-law-to-be, Mike Odenwaelder donated 104 pounds of food to Connecticut
Food Bank Monday, Aug. 11, 2008.  The food was raised during a bridal shower Sunday, August
10, which took place at Anthony’s Oceanview, 450 Lighthouse Rd., in East
Haven, during which guests were asked to donate non-perishable
food items in lieu of traditional “wishing well” gifts.
Myra Matthews will marry Mike Odenwaelder on Saturday, Oct. 11
at WoodWinds in Branford.
