Miles For Meals 5K 2017

We had great weather and an enthusiastic crowd at this year’s Miles for Meals 5K. Enjoy some photos from the event.

Connecticut Food Bank CEO Bernie Beaudreau welcomed runners on a sunny Sunday to our 2nd annual Miles For Meals 5K.

Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling joined us again this year to welcome runners and recognize the work of the Connecticut Food Bank.

Citizens Bank Regional Director of Public Affairs, Rick Musiol, addressed the crowd before the race. He pulled double duty, running as well!

Beautiful day for a race at Veterans Park in Norwalk.

Team members from Citizens Bank had a spot to welcome runners and provide some goodies.

Runners and spectators all had fun!

Ari from UFC Gym in Norwalk led the pre- and post-race stretches.

Runners warmed up with pre-race calisthenics.

Connecticut Food Bank Board member Bill Lesko, in yellow shirt, joined the race this year.
