Napoli Motors Donates Nissan Versa
to Connecticut Food Bank

 

MILFORD, CONN., January 21, 2016 – Napoli Motors of Milford, Connecticut, has donated a 2014 Nissan Versa to the Connecticut Food Bank to be used by staff conducting food bank business. Napoli Motors owner Leonard Napoli, Jr., and General Manager, Scott Haverl, presented the vehicle on January 11, at the Napoli Indoor Auto Outlet in Milford.

 

“We are grateful for this donation from Napoli Motors,” said Connecticut Food Bank Corporate Development Officer Michael Davidow. “This car will be a great help to our staff as they travel to meet with our member programs and with donors.”

 

The Connecticut Food Bank is the state’s non-profit leader in the fight against hunger and is the largest provider of charitable food donations. The Connecticut Food Bank with a network of some 700 community-based partners and programs in six Connecticut counties to provide food to hungry people.

 

“Through our network, we provide food to more than 300,000 Connecticut residents – enough to prepare more than 19 million meals last year,” Davidow said. “Our team is on the road, meeting with member programs that distribute food in partnership with us and with donors who make that work possible. This vehicle is a great additional resource that will keep us on the road.”
